The Book of the Law

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Liber AL vel Legis, also known as “The Book of the Law” is the fundamental basis for the philosophical and religious system known as Thelema. Written by Aleister Crowley in 1904 in Cairo, Egypt, it is the central holy book of those who would call themselves Thelemites. Crowley claimed that it was dictated to him by a “Praeterhuman intelligence” that identified itself as Aiwass. While some Thelemites believe that Crowley is the author of the book, and others believe the story of the reception to be a true account of its origin, the book is nevertheless an amazing treasure house of universal truth and individual empowerment for many people. A full account of the reception of Liber AL can be found in “The Equinox of the Gods” by Aleister Crowley.

Please do take the time to read the book thoroughly. Though it is somewhat short, an individual could spend their whole lives allowing it to unveil its mysteries to them, and many do.
